In Geometry I learned about the properties of parallelograms and used the properties to design a piece of stained glass. The inspiration for my stained glass was shapes around the world . The shapes I included in my design were a square, a triangle, a trapezoid, a rectangle and a rhombus. I made sure that my parallelograms abided by the properties of parallelograms which are opposite sides are parallel, opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, same-side interior angles (consecutive angles) are supplementary, each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles and the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

Throughout the year, we created different notebooks for each math unit. These notebooks helped us stay organized and track our learning as we moved through new topics. Each one includes notes, practice problems, and key concepts that made it easier to review for quizzes and tests. They also show how much I’ve grown and improved in math over the course of the year.
