Walter Nunnally
My name is Walter Nunnally, and I am a student at Drew Charter School, where I’ve been my entire life—I’m proud to be considered a true "Drew baby." I have a strong passion for baseball, traveling, and photography, and I approach everything I do with hard work and determination. I’m an aspiring architect with a deep appreciation for art, photography, and nature. I find inspiration in quiet moments—watching how light moves through a space, how textures interact, and how thoughtful design can shape the way we experience the world. Music and peaceful environments fuel my creativity, helping me explore new ideas with a calm and open mind. Through both athletics and the arts, I strive to grow, express myself, and leave a meaningful impact on the spaces and communities around me.
My goals are to complete high school and go on to college. I want to play college baseball and eventually make it to the major leagues to compete at the professional level. Baseball has been a major part of my life, teaching me discipline, resilience, and the importance of always striving to improve. I’m committed to sharpening my skills on the field while also pursuing my passion for architecture and design. Whether it’s through playing the game or creating spaces that enhance the experience for others, I want to leave a lasting impact. As I move forward, I’m focused on training, learning, and pushing myself to reach the highest level possible—both as an athlete and as a designer.
