Baseball has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was inspired by my grandfather, who went semi-pro, and that planted the dream in me to one day follow in his footsteps. Over the years, I’ve played on multiple teams, learning how to grow not just as a player, but also as a teammate and a leader. Every practice and game taught me something—about hard work, patience, and the importance of bouncing back from failure. I’ve had moments of triumph and times where I had to push through tough losses or off days, but through it all, my love for the game only grew stronger.
What really shaped my experience was the way baseball challenged me to stay focused and disciplined. From early morning practices to late-night games, I had to manage my time and energy carefully, especially while balancing school and other responsibilities. Being on the field gave me a sense of peace and purpose—it’s where I feel most like myself. Now, as I prepare for the next level, I’m more motivated than ever to take my game to college and beyond. Baseball isn’t just something I do—it’s part of who I am, and I’m ready to keep grinding and growing, no matter where the journey takes me.
I’ve played baseball all four years of high school, staying committed to the game through every season. Each year brought new challenges, opportunities, and growth, both as an athlete and as a person. I’ve learned the value of consistency, teamwork, and pushing myself beyond limits. Looking ahead, I plan to continue my baseball journey at Morehouse College, where I’m excited to represent the school, grow as a player, and carry on my family’s legacy in the sport. I know the road won’t be easy, but I’m ready for the next chapter and everything that comes with it.
