The Mandalas bring a feeling of relaxation , Mandala drawing helps enhance concentration and coloring them is a great stress reliever. The mandalas can be related to world civilizations by a performance of sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation and this was adapted by Hinduism and Buddhism also it spread throughout Asia with Buddhist monks who traveled the Silk Road. Repetition can be seen because of the same shapes and colors. You could use the mandala to show an atom by the using the circles and design to create the way a atoms moves.

Abstract art originated in Europe in the late 19th century and Abstract art is a expressive style and It has become much more popular amongst artists. Artists stop painting structure work in order to become more expressive. Kandinsky was the first to use abstract art. Abstract are can be found in African art and usually African abstract use their animals and people to represent the art, also abstract art can be found in native American culture and the designs and symbols were often forms of communication or a way to honor the gods. I think abstract art can be related through science with all the different colors that are in the art. I think I would like to work in a more expressive way because you are free to use your imagination and able to express how you feel in that moment and also use what inspires you.
