Food for thought
Dr Kurt
In Dr Kurt class for the food for thought we made different potery structures and in my group we made a cup and through this process we had got to come up with our own potery and got to make it into glass a this was also displayed in the pbl showcase. We made a glass cup because it was unique to us and related to the columbian exchange. We first started off brainstorming and then sketched it out and later on sculptured it out. Getting the concept of the cup worked but what didn't work was the attachment of the pieces because it was not sticking .
AP World History
In ap world history we had food wars between eastern hemisphere and western hemisphere. In this food battle we were chosen for either western and eastern and each hemisphere had their own ingredients and you could only use the ingredients that your hemisphere was assigned to.
Geometry
In geometry we talked about food swamps and food desert. In this project we had to research different food swamps and where they are located in Georgia , also with food deserts we had to research where they are located In Georgia and we went in depth about what really are food swamps and food deserts.
Chemistry
In chemistry we researched with the food we made and found if it was either a covalent or ionic bond and we made a brochure explaining what bonding is.
