In class we watched the Atlanta Child Murders documentary. Between 1979 and 1981, approximately 29 African-American children, teens, and young adults—mostly boys—were kidnapped and murdered. Wayne Williams was convicted and found guilty for the murder of the two adults but it was never proven if he killed the children and that case still remains open. I believed that Wayne Williams was innocent so I researched old news articles and interviews and I concluded that information was withheld and that the KKK was responsible for the deaths of the boys.
