This identify portrait I made is focused on family and who I come from rather than where I come from. In the middle you can see my whole immediate family. From left to right is my older brother Jajuan, my mommy, my dad, my little sister Joss, and lastly me. Here in Atlanta we are all we have. In the top left corner is me and my sister. I chose to specifically single her out because it's always me and her. We are only 14 months apart basically twins. She is my first bestfriend and my ride or die. Next you can see me and my maternal grandmother. I love my granny we have the same star sign, Scorpio and she is always one call away. She is a huge part of who I am and without her I don't know where I would be. She encourages me to go hard and always makes sure I know that hard work pays off. Next is my paternal great grandmother. She is still living and holding it down and I'm blessed to have spent time with her and still have time with her. Right above my family's photo is a picture a street sign. This is the street of the house we all grew up in. The house my parents got married in. The only house we all ever know. I am thankful to both of my parents for giving us somewhere stable to lay our heads and call our home. I hope to return here with my kids one day. On the right top corner is me at my school Drew Charter School playing basketball. I've been attending Drew since Kindergarten and devoted many years to the athletic program. This photo is not just representing basketball but my commitment to Drew and the entire athletics program. Next is a throwback photo of my parents. I think this is relevant because without them there is no me, Joss, or Jajuan. Nothing would be possible without them. Lastly is a photo of the underrated Boss Sauce. Many haven't heard of this down South but up North in Rochester NY it is very popular. I included this because my paternal grandfather Eddie Harris is the owner of the Boss Sauce company. He already established his legacy not only for him but my family and I very proud to be apart of it.
