For our 1st quarter project in ChemVas, we had to create a children's book/song that explained the element group assigned and kept them intrigued. This project was challenging but it also was very fun. We got to create and paint our characters and work with people we probably wouldn't work with before.
We learned how to weave yarn like how many people do in other parts of the world. I began to make a scarf.
Overall this project was creative and also very educational. We learned many things in this project that tied with chemistry and art. An example for chemistry is that we learned how to convert our recipes from one unit to another. We also learned the how some of our equipment we used to cook the food tied in with some of our elements. An example for art is that we learned how to take pictures from different angles to make our food look more appealing and interesting.
While we were cooking we had a really good time. We didn’t mess anything up, we made sure we had enough ingredients that we need to make the sliders. It was fun making. Throughout the process we worked together to get the job done.
