About My Life...

Hi, my name is Raelyn Rivers. I am 18 years old, and I have been that age for about 2 months, so I am very new to this whole "Adult" thing. Since kindergarten, I have been going to Drew, so I am a cradle-to-college baby. I love to coceter and watch tv and movies as I do so. I was born in Atlanta Georgia and I have and older brother named Ramon. My parents are both form new jersey so we are kinda northernat heart. I love warm weather kinda hot but not too hot so spring but I hate pollen. Hmm, what else? I have a peanut allergy and was a Sever asmatic when I was younger. I enjoy playing tennis and bord games with my friends right now we are really into to "Werewolf", but I am hoping e can work or was up to "doungens and dragons", . I am a active tumber user and I have tried almost every sport across the board so that's a little about me.

Interest & Passions

Outside of school i endulge in a multitude of activities. Living in downtown Atlanta their are quite a few things to do. Most weekends you'll either find me at the merceddes benze stadium watching Atlanta united games or breezingup and down the belt line with my dad for family bike rides. However what I'm m ost passionate about is my F1 Obsession. Over the past year I have found my self tuning it any crazy races all over the world at ridicculs times with my crochet hooks in hand waiting for actions

Goals & Aspirations

I think that I have always found myself at home in the comfort of TV and film. From writing middle-grade fanfic to learning how to make TikTok edits during the pandemic my budding love for TV shows and movies started early. The way that tv and movies have for years showcased the precipice of human creativity and served as time capsules for social thought and perception is what truly made me fall in love.

After high school, I hope to pursue a career in the film industry. I really want to learn documentry film to capture and tell creative stories.

POST SECONDARY PLANS

After high school, I plan to major in Film and Media Studies at Bard College on the Posse scholarship. Posse is a merit-based program that pairs 10 high-achieving leaders with elite academic institutions nationwide. You Can Learn more about the progam here.
