Español: Los artistas mezclan la realidad y la fantasía usando símbolos, personificación y otros recursos para mostrar emociones o ideas que no se ven en la vida real.

English: Artists blend reality and fantasy by employing symbols, personification, and other devices to convey emotions or ideas that cannot be directly observed in real life.

2. ¿Cómo refleja el arte una perspectiva cultural? ¿Cómo conecta la perspectiva con la cultura tuya?

Español: El arte refleja la cultura tradiciones, historia y creencias de un persona. Por ejemplo, Frida Kahlo usa símbolos mexicanos para expresar su identidad. Esto conecta con mi cultura porque también tenemos símbolos y tradiciones

English: Art reflects culture by showing the traditions, history, and beliefs of a people. For example, Frida Kahlo uses Mexican symbols to express her identity. This connects to my culture because we also have symbols and traditions that show who we are and what we value.

Who was Frida, why was she famous, and why did you choose the piece that you analyzed?

Frida Kahlo fue una artista mexicana muy famosa por sus autorretratos y su estilo único que combina la realidad y la fantasía. Era conocida por pintar su vida, sus emociones y su dolor físico usando símbolos y colores fuertes. me gusta el Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird porque me gusta cómo Frida muestra su sufrimiento y su fuerza al mismo tiempo. Su obra me hace pensar en cómo las personas pueden convertir el dolor en algo creativo

She was known for painting her life, emotions, and physical pain using symbols and bright colors. I chose Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird because I like how Frida shows her suffering and strength at the same time. Her work makes me think about how people can turn pain into something creative and powerful.
