In Web Development, we completed a unit on the intricacies of cybersecurity. We learned a lot about why the field is so important and tackled some example problems to make websites more safe for users.
During our Javascript project in Web Development, we were asked to combine our knowledge of the creation of ellipses, strings, rectangles, triangles, and color to create an animal of our choosing. I chose a cat. Then after learning of animation techniques, I used these to make improvements that made my cat out of the ordinary. For each second, the diameter of the eyeball grows, and resets if it gets larger than a certain size.
At the end of the year in AP Computer Science, we were asked to do a Create Task to demonstrate all that we had learned in the year. My Create Task was a questionnaire that gave a score and which answers were deemed incorrect, but most importantly, reset instead of remaining at an end screen, so that people could play again.
