I read two works of poetry. One is titled For Everyone by Jason Reynolds. The other is titled, The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo.

I wrote an essay giving advice to Xiomara, the protagonist of The Poet X. I also wrote and performed a poem about the novel. Finally, I wrote and performed a poem about my route to school.

I began reading Radium Girls by Kate Moore and took notes.

In class we read The Odyssey, a graphic novel. I made a scene from the book on storyboard.com.
