Artist Statement:

For this project, I had to create typography art of the word ‘ChemVAS.” To complete this project, I mastered the grouping, paint bucket, texture, scale, rotation, and the image copy and paste tools. For my background, I incorporated texture, value, and pattern. For my typography, i used value and made my colors less saturated than the background. I liked that the assignment allowed me to be creative by thinking about how real-world items could be used to represent and depict various letters. I could use these tools in the future to make my future creations more unique. The paint bucket will help me paint large areas faster, the scale will help me make my art more 3D, the image copy and paste will help me add in images with more ease.
