To volunteer, means to give your time and services to help the community around you and to help make it better. I aim to have 150 hours of community service because I want to show my love and support for the community. For my community service hours, I have helped around the school, by helping my teachers clean up during lunch time and by helping to coordinate school events such as, the Annual Summer Sun Reading Celebration. I also created the nonprofit organization, Simple Appreciation, with my sister, a way for students to show their appreciation to our nation's veterans.
