This is a commercial I made of myself, promoting me. It uses Ethos (Trust), Logos (Logic), and Pathos (Feelings)

The theme of this year's conference is "See Me". This is my 3 minute video all about seeing me as the individual I am.
This year was the year of Covid, so we had to do school virtually and I did it that way the entire year. Spanish class was very fun, and we grew from the Intermediate Low to Intermediate Mid this year.
All throughout Spanish 3 we used an online book because we were learning virtually. This is where we put things from our classes, like the date, time, and weather. We also put new vocabulary that we learned from class. We also put class work that would sometimes include writing prompts and notes from videos.
This was our beginning assignment for this class. We made a small presentation about ourselves. We includes basic things like what we like. I really like Spanish and excited for this class.
The Chemistry and Visual Arts Study (ChemVAS) curriculum is designed to introduce students to the fundamental principles of art, chemistry and the laboratory experiences which will prepare them for further study in the sciences and arts. Topics to be studied include the classification and structure of matter, atomic theory, the periodic table, bonding, chemical formulas and nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, gas laws, thermodynamics, and acids and bases, foundations of art, drawing, and painting. We will explore each of the science topics creatively intertwining the visual arts standards throughout the course. Through a variety of lesson formats and assignments, students will have the opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills, creativity, laboratory techniques, and written and verbal communication skills.
This the final version of my EPIC Elements project which features my group's elements, the noble gases, my group's heroes, and the ancient civilization of Ancient Egypt. This animated children's book tells the story of three heroes traveling through time to save the future.
This the completed version of my recycled textiles project. This textile was made with plastics bags. In the photos, you can see that I cut the plastic into strips then looped then together to make plarn, plastic yarn. Then I crocheted them together.
In class we watched two videos about Still Life Photography, then we took some photos of our own. I took photos of a box I had and some decorative flowers. I angled the camera to use different effects such as the rule of thirds and vanishing point. These are a just a few of the many I took.
This is my small tensegrity table. It is held up, not by pillars, but instead by the pressure of the strings inside pulling it together. This emphasizes air because this table is also known as the "floating" table because of how it is shaped. My original plan was to make it out of popsicle sticks, but after searching around and not seeing any, I decided to switch plans. I instead went for cardboard, although I was worried it wouldn't be able to keep up the weight. So I then cut thin strips of cardboard to the same size and hot glued them together for double strength. After spending a lot of time doing so, I was able to move onto making the string and forming the tensegrity.
This assignment was taken as our final for the class. In this project we thought ourselves about nuclear chemistry and then created a visual project based on one topic in nuclear chemistry. My topic was the Fukishima Daiichi Accident
This Year we worked through Code.org and made our own performance task and took a test for the Exam

I made Chicken Rosso Pesto Pasta
Advanced Course
Many students ask the question, “Why should I learn Algebra?” While there are several valid arguments for learning Algebra, we should remember that Algebra helps us build skills to solve more complex problems. Algebra is linked to many other subjects, specifically engineering and scientific fields. In this Algebra course, we will study quadratic and polynomial functions and rational and radical relationships. In the last three units, we will study exponential and logarithmic functions, mathematical modeling and inferences and conclusions from data. Throughout the course, problem-solving skills will be practiced over and over again.
