This was an assignment given to my class at the end of the year to help us prepare to write our own college essays when applying for scholarships. This was very helpful to help us get an early start on preparing for the most important part of our senior year. During this assignment we were able to break down the process of writing college essays and also were able to help learn how to write them from others' successful college essays that were accepted. I was really confused at first, but after going through this process it became so much easier to write them.

We began doing current event assignments during March or April.  We began to do this to help us with writing when we were writing  during the AP Language and Arts test. Although I did not pass the test, these assignments helped me progress through the test with less struggle because I was able to recall  some information for some topics.

We were assigned to practice our vocabulary on this website for a certain amount of times a week. This vocabulary website helped me learn a lot of new words and helped me gain a lot of understanding of new words.
