For my world literature class during my sophomore year, we were tasked with creating and publishing a 60-page book, documenting it as we went along. For my book, Almost 18, I chose to write about a 17-year-old girl in a mental hospital, awaiting her discharge once she turns 18. I enjoyed the creative freedom I had with this assignment and it is one of my favorites I've done throughout the years. I learned time management and how to properly edit and proofread books. Although I did not get the chance to finish and publish my book, I loved everything about the process of creating it. Below you can find my book.
