We had to create a storyboard based on the book The Odyssey, focusing on a specific scene from the story. I chose an important moment that clearly showed the conflict and character development, and then I broke the scene down into different panels to visually represent what was happening. In each section, I included key dialogue, descriptions of the setting, and details about the characters’ emotions and actions. I made sure the images matched the tone of the scene and reflected the challenges Odysseus was facing.
This project was easy for me because I understood the story well and was able to quickly organize the events in order. It didn’t take me long to complete because I planned out my ideas before drawing and stayed focused. Even though it was simple, it helped me practice summarizing important information, identifying key moments in a text, and turning written details into visual representations.
