The Backpack Swap

A silent short film is a short movie that tells a story without characters speaking. Instead of dialogue, it uses actions, facial expressions, music, and visuals to help the audience understand what is happening.

Since the film has no dialogue, I had to tell the story through actions, expressions, and camera angles, which made it more challenging. One challenge I faced was making sure the audience could understand what was happening without any words, so I had to carefully plan each scene. The skill that improved the most was my storytelling and video editing because I learned how to organize clips and use visuals to explain the story. If I could revise the project today, I would improve the camera quality, add smoother transitions, and include background music. The strongest part of my presentation was explaining the message and creativity behind the film, but I need to improve by speaking more clearly and giving more details about the filming process before my final defense.
