10th grade changed me in ways I didn’t expect. It was the year I really started to understand myself, especially when it came to friendships, grades, and my mental health. Some friendships didn’t last, and I had to learn that not everyone grows in the same direction. That was hard, but it taught me how to set boundaries and value real, supportive relationships. Academically, the work became more challenging, and I realized that natural ability wasn’t always enough — I had to manage my time better and actually study with intention. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and stressed, and I had to start paying attention to my mental health instead of ignoring it. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help and take breaks when needed. Overall, 10th grade pushed me to mature emotionally and academically, and it helped me become more self-aware, responsible, and resilient.
