The theme for the immersive experience was growth and we had to show different types of growth through our creations. Most students used plants and animals in nature. We used technology in many ways to relate to the theme. For example we used AI to create images and designs used in our display. We also projected mini movies created by the students. I think we did a good job portraying the theme of growth because our exhibit made the audience into feel like they were in nature.
Chirsten Nash and I initially created farm animals with crochet bees and bee hives. We used our crochet creations in the farm section of the project. Later on we decided to create a garden of flowers. Most of the flowers were created by many other students including Amani Hampton, Marielle O'niel, and Maliayh Morris. Some were made out of pipe cleaners, paper origami, and more. We contributed to multiple aspects of the Immersive Experience with our creations of nature.
