In this class my group and I had to research pottery from different cultures and choose one we wanted to portray. Madison Morales, Fiero Simpson and I chose the Caribbean pottery style. Madison created a vase, Fiero created a small gravy dish, and I created tea cups. I made tea cups because after the Columbian Exchange tea became apart of the Caribbean culture. This culture also used a lot of patterns with their pottery, so I used a brick like design on my tea cups.
In this class my group and I had to relate food to our identity and culture. Amani Hampton, Nia McKelvey, Michael Rashad, Brandon Phillips, and I took a significant dish to our identity to add to our own original recipe. We came up with Fusion Feast Samosa.
