My Role as an Intern

As an intern at Nine Mile Security Group, I work under the supervision of Mr. Wayne as a cybersecurity analyst, using the Threat Down platform to manage, scan, and detect vulnerabilities across the company’s network. I rely heavily on Threat Down One View to monitor system health and track potential threats in real time. My responsibilities include creating detailed daily and weekly reports based on this data, which help the team stay informed about any emerging issues. I’ve also had the opportunity to present to middle and high school students, explaining how Threat Down works, the mission of Nine Mile, and the overall importance and benefits of a career in cybersecurity.
