My name is Jayla Johnson, and I am a senior at Drew Charter School. Transferring to Drew in 5th grade came with its challenges, but it ultimately shaped me into the determined and hardworking student I am today. Throughout my years at Drew, I’ve been an active member of both Beta Club and the National Honor Society, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence and leadership. Since 6th grade, I’ve been a dedicated member of the track team, pushing myself to improve each season. In my 11th grade year, I expanded my school involvement by joining the cheer team, embracing teamwork and school spirit. I also enjoy giving back to the community and participating in service projects, finding fulfillment in helping those in need. My passion for caring for others has inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare, starting as a pediatric nurse and eventually becoming a pediatrician. With determination and a heart for service, I’m excited for the journey ahead.
