Greetings, my name is Isaiah Johnston and I was born in Austin, Texas, however, I was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I have attended many different schools in multiple cities and states. I've been to a total of five schools in twelve years. While attending these different schools, I have seen and learned about many different cultures, people, and places. I believe that diversity is very important because it shows not only me, but society how others see the world. My family is very diverse. We have Americans, Asians, Native Americans, Nigerians, and other African tribes our blood.
During school, my favorite classes and subjects revolve around math and science. Not only are these my favorite, they're the easiest to comprehend in my opinion. Other subjects like language, history, and art have a very moderate feel. I don't find them to be the easiest nor the hardest subjects, and I don't find them to be very exciting or boring. For my electives, I currently take band and personal fitness. Both of these classes are fun and teach me more than enough, so I enjoy them.
I don't have many hobbies, but what I miss in quantity, I make up for with quality. Since I don't have many hobbies, I spend lots of time on these hobbies. My hobbies include basketball, music (drumming), cooking, and dancing. Most of my time is spent on basketball and school, however, when I get the chance, I spend a select portion of time on cooking and drumming. . . . As for dancing, I casually dance around the house for fun, so it's nothing too special.
My biggest dream is to work hard to play professional basketball. This has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and everyday I strive to work towards it whether it's physically or mentally. Since this is not an easy goal, I have came up with multiple different back up plans that may one day override this dream. I am big in the field of sports and nutrition, so I may aspire to be a nutritionist or somewhere involved in sports. This could be sports analytics, sports medicine, personal training, etc. Whatever the case may be, I am willing to work hard for it not because it makes me look good, but because it will grow and change me into a better version of myself.
