This piece is called When it Rains it Pours. This piece was played by Charles R. Drew Charter School Senior Academy harp class 2B. This piece make me feel relaxed and calm. Using the tuning keys to create a sound that mimicks rain falling was magnifecent. I enjoyed playing and would recommend other Harpists to play it as well.
This piece is called fiesta by Gail Barber and the performing group is Charles R. Drew Charter School Senior Academy harp class 2B. In this piece there is a large amount of glissandos. The peice changes key signitures mid song to give the song a party feeling. I enjoyed playing and would recommend this song to family and friends to listen to.
All I Ask, by Composer Adele, arr. by Imari Ricks
My first impression of this piece was that it was edgy. I think the final performance was good. I liked how we would decresendo.
My favorite extended technique was tapping on the sound board. I wish I played louder with my group to hear the techniques louder.
