I am vice president of the student body at Drew Charter School. I was class vice president in 10th and 11th grade. While being in SGA, I have planned activities and events for my peers to boost serotonin. I wanted to make school a stress free enviroment. As vice president I have attended meeting with the APS Board of Education and attented symposiums. I have collaborated with colleges to brings awarness to post-secondary options for after high school. I adore being vice president and the opportunities it has given me. how a gove should work and how it should not. In a good gov prestine leadership, responisibility, not a figure head, but popularity contest, rep student ideals, organize structure and move, encourge voting, local state and federal. even student.
I have been apart of the Drew Cheer team ever since 9th grade. My 9th grade year was virtual therefore I had to practice on zooms. I was dedicated to the sport and I became captain of the junior varsity team. I was co-captain of the varsity team in 12th grade. As co-captain of the team, I learned how to form connections and lead a group of exceptional young ladies. I started cheering in elementry school. I cheered in middle from sixth grade to eigth grade. While being a cheerleader at Drew I have formed a sisterhood. My favorite memory of cheering is when we won the championship at in 2022. It was my first time doing stomp n shake cheer in a colosseum. Another memory I am fond of is my senior night. For Senior night I was tasked with creating a personalized cheer. I was able to perform it in front of my family and friends. In this picture on the left I was awarded my letterman jacket. You receive you letterman jackrt after 3 consecutive years on Varsity.
I joined Step Up in my junior year of high school. Step up has given me many opportunites to meet new people and see institutions. It has helped me gain a step on my career. The club allows me to discuss ways to help my mental health and self esteem. As a step up member I have to excell academically as well. I also have to support my fellow Step Up sisters. This club allowed me to mentor younger girls in the elementary school about the importance of self love.
I joined the La Socidad Honoraria Hispanica in eleventh grade. This society has given me the opportunity to study abroad and meet new people. I have always had in interest in the Latin Community, and this society is teaching me about it.
The National Honor Society program empowers and equips me with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in my school, community, and beyond. The program also gives recognition to my hard work and dedication to my academics.
I have been involved in Beta since 6th grade. I was inducted into the National Jr Beta Club and now I am in National Beta Club. I have competed against other schools and won. This club is about service learning. This club taught me the importance to giving back to the community.
I joined Mu Alpha Theta in 11th grade. We tutor kids in algera dn geometry. We have also competed in contest against other schools in math competitions. We host events realted to make like PI day. This organization helps me realize that math is in my everyday life.
