In World Literature, students created a propaganda poster and social media package supporting a cause.
In World Literature, students wrote their own novel, consisting of at least 60 pages. My book was the story of a prince, Mateo Monera, and his knight, Grayson Alwyn, and the development of their relationship, all up until the knight is murdered.
I designed and drew my book cover. It's a castle with a fountain of blood streaming down its entrance. The castle is purely white, symbolizing purity or innocence, or Mateo and Grayson's relationship. The deep red color stains it and overflows, symbolizing the murder that happens in the book. The white flower on the spine is a symbol and reference to sweet moments in the book between the two main characters. The arrow, despite also being decorative and a separator from the two paragraphs, could symbolize Grayson's ability as a knight.
Write an Elegy regarding your own death.
The day before it happened, I saw you
We said our brief goodbyes,
No need to expect for more;
and looking back, it’s saddening
A quick hug that I don’t remember happening.
Send a picture of our memories
You said you looked messy
But I think you’re perfect
You’re not here but I know you’ve heard it.
You loved to sleep,
So I shall not weep
Goodnight, not ‘bye’
I’ll see you in the next life.
