11th grade will forever be a year to remember and for obvious reasons. When Covid 19 hit I thought it was going to blow over in a week or two but it didn't. Our normal was about to change into a new normal. When I found out my 11th-grade year was going to be virtual I had mixed emotions about it. I was excited that I could just stay home all day, but I was also upset because your junior year is supposed to be the most important year of your high school career and it was spent in my room. This year wasn't all that bad. I was able to take two science courses on edgenuity (biology, and environmental science). I figured out I want to attend University of Houston and that I want to pursue a career in ASL. What was very rewarding was that I got closer to family members I didn't see in a while. Also, I did a lot of travel which was also rewarding. Even though covid had a great effect on me, it wasn't all bad.
