This project was more than just building a nightstand, it was a personal journey of creativity, discipline, and growth. From the moment I sketched out my initial design to the final brush of stain, I was able to experience the process of bringing an idea to life through hard work and careful planning. Each stage challenged me to think critically, problem-solve in real time, and pay close attention to detail. I learned how to use tools more confidently, how to measure and align pieces with accuracy, and how to adapt when things didn’t go exactly as planned. Through woodworking, I gained a new level of respect for craftsmanship and developed a deeper interest in hands-on design. Completing this nightstand not only gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment, but it also strengthened my desire to explore architecture and design more seriously in the future. This experience reminded me that with the right support, resources, and mindset, I am capable of building more than just furniture—I can build a meaningful path toward my goals.
