First, we emptied a water bottle. Then we took 3 straws and taped them to the water bottle but made sure they were leveled. When the bottle didn't stand on its own we added another straw. Then we took a single ply of tissue and rolled it with some baking soda in it and filled the water bottle half way with vinegar. Then, we took a cork. After that we went outside and put the rolled tissue in the water bottle and shook it up, corked it then let it go. When that happened the water bottle didn't take off like it was supposed to. Space is apart of the elements of art and when we went outside we put the water bottle on the grass we didn't use our space correctly. Instead of putting the bottle in the grass we could have put it on the concreate so it could stand better. Balance is a part of the principles of design, when we put our model on the grass and had to flip it over we could have made it balance better then we did so made the rocket could shoot up.
First, we took 4 popsicle sticks and hot glued them to make the base for the the cradle, and did that twice. Then we cut seven pieces of string an inch longer then the popsicle stick and hot glued them to the seven marbles. After that's we took another 4 popsicle sticks and hot glued the to the two bases we made, having one on the top and one on the bottom. We then hot glued the marbles that were attached to the string to the popsicle sticks at the top and tried to align them to make a straight line all the way back. We then made a flipgrid regarding the cradle and how it is related to Newtons laws. Form is apart of element of art and when we were on the last step of trying to align the marbles up we had to make sure the form was right. Movement is apart of the Principles of design and when we were hot gluing our marbles to the popsicle sticks we had to made sure when we tested it out that the movement was right and the cradle worked.
