Ever since I was a 9th grader, theater has been a huge part of my life. I dove into the world of acting when I joined the cast of Fame, a powerful show that dives deep into the struggles of students in performing arts, including a character who tragically drops out and battles addiction. That raw, emotional journey opened my eyes to the impact storytelling can have. And now, as a senior, I’m on stage again, this time in Grease, playing the iconic role of Frenchy. For the past four years, I’ve been blessed to be in the main cast, and each show has revealed something new about myself. I’ve grown so confident in front of a crowd; I can command a stage, embody different characters, and truly express myself. Theater isn't just a hobby; it’s shown me that I have a voice, a presence, and a passion I never expected. I love being on stage—it’s where I truly come alive.
