9th Grade PBL

During my 9th-grade year, we completed a multi-disciplinary project. We were required to design our own Ferris Wheel with a "Purple Hibiscus" theme. The following topics were applied: speed, distance, time, kinetic energy, and acceleration. I built a Ferris Wheel as shown on the left. This was inspired by the book Purple Hibiscus which we read as part of our ELA curriculum.
