Charles R. Drew Charter School has been the best school for me. It is a school that is not only uniquely made on the outside but it is also unique on the inside. The PBL areas on every grade level are awesome. This area allows students to create large projects individually or in a group. We are able to have grade-level meetings and gatherings in that same area. The teachers are very strict but you know they care about every student that enters into their classroom.Â
Drew is different from other high schools not only because of its unique design but all that the school has to offer. Drew has given my classmates and me opportunities to visit great museums, colleges and universities, community events, careers in and around the city of Atlanta and many other places. We have been able to travel outside of Atlanta and actually see our passion in action from professionals around the world. What other schools would do that much for their students? These are just a few of the reasons I chose to remain at Drew Charter School. It has been a great experience and I hope to make Drew proud as I transition into the next phase of my life.
