About Me....

Hi my name is Ava Dragon and i'm 17 years old from Atlanta Georgia. I first came to Drew Charter in 1st grade. I have a passion for dance and the arts, which you'll see throughout my portfolio. I've been dancing for about 10 years and been into art since 5th grade. I love to paint because it's positive way to express myself and fun. I love the way I get to turn my thoughts into art. I also got introduced into soccer and it quickly became another passion. In the last 4 years, i've done a lot of traveling to figure out where i want to go for college. While i'm not 100% on my school, my choices are Louisiana State University or the University of South Florida. Please enjoy my journey through high school.

Goals...

My goals for senior year was to pass all my dual enrollment classes and have a good time, which i've acheived so far. Going into college, my goal is to be successful and meet diverse people. I would also love to major in design or marketing . I will accomplish these goals by doing my best in school, seeking opportunities to learn and grow and attend college. I will also follow my heart when attending college.

Next Steps

My college decision journey was definitely a tough one. I applied to 12 schools and was accepted into 7 of them. Along with those acceptances, I was awarded over $250,000 in scholarships—which I’m so grateful for! After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve officially decided to attend Louisiana State University (LSU). I’ll be majoring in Marketing with a minor in International Business and a double minor in Art. I’m so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
