I want my art to be bright so I did neon colors. I use the spray paint effect to create the background. We had to incorporate art and science tools. I look for cartoon pictures art and science and used to create some letters. I also used elements off of the periodic table.

My element was lithium. Lithium is use in phone and computers so like I wanted to incorporated in my art. Lithium is also rechargeable and also has to deal with energy. So I incorporated light bolts and the word energy.

I wanted to make a a jewelry dish. But I didn't want it to be just basic jewelry dish. so I made this. To make this I rolled out a slab of clay then I traced out a circle and cut it out. Then I folded the edges so it could become a dish. Then I made the frog and I blended it to the dish. The I bisque fired and glaze and then fired again my piece. Oxidation occurs when there is an excess of oxygen. As the kiln heats up compounds in the glaze break off and oxygen attaches itself to the glaze and clay. This causes metals in both to oxidize.

The Columbian exchange was the widespread transfer of plants, animals, precious metals, commodities, culture, human populations, technology, diseases, and ideas. What started the the Columbian exchange was Europeans were trying to find a new way to get Asia without going through silk road. When the Europeans came over they brought disease that Native Americans weren’t used to. They also brought guns. Quesadillas it has cheese and chicken. I cooked the rice and made the bread into a heart.

Use your best Spanish. Use your brain power to activate and articulate your memory in Spanish.
These tasks are due this coming Friday, 2/3/23. Be ready to share and make your formal presentation in class.
