In this activity I had a frosted sugar cookie and I used materials like a ruler, string, and a protractor and I cut up the cookie in different ways and took measurements of arc lengths using the ruler, angles with the protractor, and circumference with the string. I found that when I cut the cookie into fourths, the four arc lengths would equal the circumference of the cookie, because they are both what's around the outside of the circle. Then with the cookie still into fourths, the different areas of each fourth (sector area) would equal what I got as the area of the whole circle.

I had to create a water bottle, using two different volume formulas and a catchy name. I made my water bottle a seasonal fall theme, and because my name is Autumn, I named it Crisp Autumn Water. I used a rectangular prism and a square pyramid in my design and the volume had to equal 30.5 cubic inches.

For my end of the year final project in geometry, I created a survey using affordable healthcare as my topic of interest. I had two questions which were asking the gender of the person filling it out and if ER visits should be free. I used this data to create 4 two way frequency charts.
