For Unit 2, we were given a choice board in order to demonstrate our understanding. I decided to complete the annotated timeline of the American Revolution. I had to create a timeline that explained the following events: Proclamation of 1763, Stamp Act, Sons of Liberty, Committees of Correspondence, Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, Intolerable Acts, Common Sense, Declaration of Independence. Mrs. Schaffer also told us that if we wanted to qualify for a level 4 response we had to include the most important causes and effects for each of the events. I used Canva in order to create my timeline because it allowed me to include all of the information as well as add simple pictures and colors.

I enjoyed this project because it replaced a test. It made me feel as though I retained the information because I didn't just memorize it in order to complete a multiple choice test. I was able to go into depth on the information, and was even able to use it as review later in the semester.
