How do I Join?

Complete the Band Aptitude Test

• • This brief test will be administered to grade 5 students during a band presentation at their school.

  • Students who pass the test will be invited to the Band Instrument Test Night.

  • Mr. Cooper will work with any student who does not initially pass the Band Aptitude Test and wishes to participate in band. Band is for everyone!

Instrument Placement

• • Attend the Band Instrument Test Night

    • • • Students will have the opportunity to try out all band instruments with a professional musician.

        • Mr. Cooper will receive placement recommendations for each student.

        • Students will have the opportunity during the instrument test night to identify their top three instrument placements.

  • All students will be placed in one of their top three choices.

  • You will be notified of your students instrument placement shortly after the instrument test night.

Complete the enrollment form

• • After completing the enrollment form you will need to acquire an instrument.
