There are now brown signs to Ingestre Stables, which if followed will bring you almost to our premises. We are situated at the top of the road, past the Ingestre stables on your left.
Ingestre Hall is situated approx 5 miles from Stafford, in between Great Haywood and Tixall (please be aware there is a low bridge 11 feet 9 inches when leaving Great Haywood towards Ingestre Hall) and may be approached as follows:
Proceed from Cannock. Take the A34 road to Stafford. Follow signs to Shugborough Hall. Some 4 miles from Stafford immediately after the Chetwynd Arms (on the left) turn right to Brocton and Milford, at the halt sign on the Rugeley – Stafford road turn right, and almost immediately turn left – (sign posted to Tixall). Cross two dangerous hump backed bridges, * (route C) continue to the junction – turn right through Tixall village. After approximately 1 mile turn left at the crossroads (signposted Ingestre) * (route B) Continue on past the Golf Course for approximately three quarters of a mile and take the turning left immediately before the high wall to Home Farm, signposted Church, Stables and Hall. Pass the stables on the left and bear right at the top of the road. Ingestre Hall is on the left. Please ring the bell at the side entrance.
Proceed from Lichfield and Rugeley. Take the A51 towards Stone. Some 2 miles from Rugeley turn left into Great Haywood. Pass the Fox & Hounds Pub on the left, at the mini roundabout turn right into Mill Lane. Continue to the minor cross road on a very sharp left hand bend (sign-posted Ingestre Hall, Golf Club, Stables & Church) go straight across – continue as Route A.
M6. Exit –J13. Take road to Stafford A449, (follow signs for Shugborough Hall all the way, until you get to Milford). After Railway Bridge (a mile approx) turn right into Rickerscote Road. Continue on over Railway Bridge and bear left along Silkmore Lane. At roundabout Turn right (A513) Continue on to the next mini-roundabouts, keep in left hand lane still on A513. Pass Walton Garage on the right. You are now heading for Milford. At the Barley Mow Pub on the left on the roundabout, turn along the minor road before Shugborough Hall. Over humped back bridges and continue as in Route A.
The site is only 7 miles from Stafford station. There are trains running along the main west coast line to Stafford hourly.

Birmingham International Airport is 35 miles south of the event site. There is a free coach from the airport to Birmingham International station. From there, you can take a train to Stafford station.
Manchester International is 58 miles north of the event site. There is a train station at the airport itself. Trains run regularly from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly, in central Manchester. You can take a train from Manchester Piccadilly directly to Stafford station.
The event team is not offering a pickup/dropoff service for this event.
There are several local taxi firms including Stafford taxis (01785 500123), which will make journeys from Stafford station to Ingestre Hall.
