Take a trip to one of our 41 state parks! Many are free to visit and did you know that we have dedicated educational State Forests? These offer low cost field trips with high engagement offerings from real park rangers! Get students to be life long visitors through their Junior Ranger Program.
Did you know that North Carolina has 14 National Park Locations? While our most famous may be in the mountains and at the coast, it is certainly fun trying to find all of them on a map! If you ever get to visit one - take a fourth grader with you! They get to visit for free! Thanks to EVERY KID OUTDOORS, plus the National Park Service has a pretty fun Junior Ranger Program as well!
