Please join me in congratulating Lorenzo Cruz (a 4th grader here at OG...but artwork entered is from his 3rd grade year) who has won 1st place (in the elementary division) in the NCCU Durham’s Finest Art show! It is a very big honor, and we are so proud of him!! Below is a link to the awards page on the NCCU website. Lorenzo will also receive a monetary prize of $50! 💜👏🏽🎉 CONGRATULATIONS LORENZO !!!🎉💜👏🏽
Join me in congratulating and celebrating Laquinn Mitchell (3rd grade), Alayah Harding (3rd grade), Ariana Cisneros (1st grade), and Avianna Tyson (K), as their artwork has been chosen to represent Oak Grove in this DPS Virtual Art Exhibit!
This exhibit is right around the corner and I want to clarify the different ways we can all enjoy this county-wide art exhibit. There are three components to the Virtual Art Exhibit:
1. Live Zoom webinar reception on Dec 17 at 5:30 pm

2. Student work projected downtown at the Oak House on Dec 18 and 19 from 5-9 pm
3. Website that displays all the artwork (will launch after the webinar)
