We are going to use what we know about color and lines to express our feelings and emotions in our monster designs! Use these resources to inspire you as you create! Remember:
draw BIG- take up all of your SPACE!
Use what you know about colors and lines to help express how you or your monster is feeling (the color red and jagged lines=angry, the color yellow and loopy lines= happy, etc )
be CREATIVE, add lots of interesting details to your monsters !
After you have drawn your monster, add a background ( where does your monster live? ) and then outline everything with a black crayon or sharpie
add color ( you may use crayons, colored pencils, markers, paints, pastels... whatever you have available!)... remember, color SOLID and try to leave zero white space!
give your monster a name
take a picture of your artwork and send it to christie.hollis@dpsnc.net ... I want to create a MONSTER gallery!!
