If we have an inclement weather day, please either complete one drawing from the optical illusion choices (2nd-5th) or off arthub (k-5) -- links to both are under my "drawing" tab. You may also visit metkids --link is under "fun art resources" tab-- and either work on one of their create videos, or visit the time machine and be prepared to give a brief summary of what you learned about the specific region, time period and big idea you chose! Glue ( glue sticks for k-1, bottle glue or glue sticks for 3-5 )
Watercolor paints (with paintbrush)

Watching nature videos is a wonderful way to learn about our earth, and to understand more about the amazing animals that are our responsibility to care for. Nature is always good for an artist's soul!

Try your hand at recreating your favorite famous painting with items that you have laying around at home! This is so much fun, and be as creative as you can- my pups will be in mine! . Email your photos to me at christie_hollis@dpsnc.net and I'll share them out!

***If you are having trouble finding art materials at home, the site below is a good resource for using found objects and everyday items to make art! You can even make paint (well, sort of! :-)).
