Respect: Having respect for the game, teammates, coaches, and the best interest of the team.
Responsibility: Owning your actions in the classroom, in the community, and on the field.
Honor: Honoring what it means to be a Student-Athlete, honoring the decisions of the team for the best interest of the team, and most importantly, honoring the game of baseball itself.
Dedication: Bring the dedication to learn something new everyday as well as the dedication to compete. Having and maintaining a growth mindset in the face of adversity.
Discipline: Be teachable and coachable everyday. In class and on the field.
"No Call, No Shows" are when players are not at a practice or game without communicating to the coaching staff beforehand. "No Call, No Shows" hurt the team, and reoccurring instances are grounds for removal from the team. The first instance of a player missing practice AND NOT informing a coach, will result in loss of playing time in that week's games.
2nd Instance of a "No Call, No Show" will result in removal from team. We understand life happens outside of baseball, however you MUST COMMUNICATE WITH US. Your teammates depend on your being there to help the team succeed.
If players are injured during practice, games, or scrimmages, they must be cleared by a physician, then cleared by our school athletic trainer after completing return-to-play protocol.
