Task 1
For students to build one of the robot designs working as a team.
Criteria:
Ability to follow build instructions
Robot looks like one of the 6 robot
Robot uses solar power to move (it works how it should)
Ability to work as a team
Ability to explain how the robot works (solar concept)
Materials:
Robot kit
iPad to photograph and film build
Teacher Evaluation

Concept was great for the students, these robots were difficult for the students to create with and needed a lot of assistance
Parts of the robot were easy to break and therefore needed spare parts
Power generated was not very high and therefore did not work correctly i.e Robot on wheels would not drive on ground but span when held in air
Multiple use of these was difficult and therefore became one off use.
