This component is about thinking, planning and putting down in writing and with diagrams exactly what you are thinking!
A Design Brief - What do you want to do? What is your overall goal?
Design Specification - What exactly will it have, how will it work
Design Ideas - What materials are you going to use? How are you going to join them? How will it look?
Present the Idea - Speak with friends, family members and teachers about your idea. Listen to what they say and make changes! No ones first idea is their best it can always be perfected!
Develop a plan - create drawings and diagrams of exactly what it is going to look like, what size it will be, what materials will be used where.
