Dear Parents and students,
This week we welcome another refugee family into our class. Veronica will join Kindergarten tomorrow.
The family has very few activities for Veronica and her younger brother to play with. If you have any new or in good condition blocks, lego, puzzles or games that you are able to donate, we will deliver them to the family.
I understand the huge strain remote learning has placed on families. Don't feel your child has to respond to every activity and please allow them the opportunity if possible to access the activities independently. Your child should follow along and interact with the filmed lessons and listen to, and follow the slides.
The activities that should be completed each week are learning to read and write the high frequency sight words (please don't sound them out) and reading at least one allocated book a day from the PM eCollection app.
Thank you for your support in welcoming Veronica and her family to our very special class family and for all you are doing at this difficult time.

Hello boys and girls,
We have enjoyed seeing all your work on Seesaw, especially the amazing houses that were built and the creative role playing of The Three Little Pigs. If you didn't post anything last week, please post the highlighted activities this week.
This week you will see more activities that include videos of Miss Meddings, she has been working hard with me to prepare your learning.
We are both looking forward to seeing you on your scheduled day at school next week.

Hello girls and boys,
Welcome to Term 2! I hope you have all had a great break at home with your families and are ready to get back into lots of fun learning.
I am really missing all of you and am looking forward to seeing everyone when we can all be together again. I loved seeing your work and videos coming in on Seesaw and so I have made videos of some of the lessons for you!
Happy birthday to Finn and Mia who both had birthdays in April.
