Generating a "Missing Data Report" in Salesforce
The "Missing Data Report" is emailed to all office managers, branch managers, and photography leads on Monday of each week
See Jen Westermann for a current list of these names/emails if needed
This report serves as a reminder to get data from schools that have not sent it yet
You can find the report using the global search bar in Salesforce (see image below)
Click the drop down in the upper right hand corner next to the Edit button, then Export
Select Details Only and choose Excel Format
Once your export settings match this photo, click Export in the bottom right
Open the file once it downloads to your computer and click Enable Editing
Format Report
To format the missing data report, simply use the "Missing Data Tool" macro on Excel to automatically format your document for distribution.
NOTE: This macro is a part of the package of macros included with the installation of the AutoCleaner. This macro is somewhat hidden and does not have a built-in key-binding, however, you can path to it and create a button for the macro on your Quick Access Toolbar or your Ribbon.
For help on adding macros to the Ribbon or Quick Access Toolbar, See Creating Buttons in Excel
