Task 1: Follow the video instructions to create your own colour wheels. Practise drawing and dividing the circle until you have mastered it
Task 2: Draw 3 value scales with 6 squares in each. Then paint value scales showing tints, tones and shades of red. Begin with a pure colour hue red.

This exercise puts into practice what you have previously learned about using tone to create the illusion of 3D form, but this time you will use colour instead of pencil.

For this task you will choose a base colour and use it plus black and white only to paint a landscape (reference photo below). During the lesson on Tone, you learned to use the grid method to reproduce an image. In this task you will learn to enlarge an image using the grid method.
